Welcome to the Canadian Children’s Museum! Join us on a global adventure through a Mexican kitchen, an open-air market, and a cargo ship. Our Museum provides a unique educational experience, broadening children’s horizons by inviting them to explore diverse cultures. Nestled within the Canadian Museum of History in Gatineau, just minutes from downtown Ottawa, it’s the ideal family destination for a day brimming with laughter, exploration, and educational fun!

Tickets can be booked in advance. Everyone visiting the Museum requires a ticket, regardless of age.

The Children’s Museum is located inside the Museum of History. General admission tickets include access to the Museum of History, the Canadian Children’s Museum, and CINÉ+. Upon your arrival, go directly to the Children’s Museum entrance to have your tickets scanned.

During busy times, access to the Children’s Museum is on a first-come, first-served basis.

At all times for a single attendant accompanying a person with a disability*
Every Thursday from 5 to 7 pm
